WSET Courses

The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 to provide high quality wine education to the UK trade. Today, the WSET is the foremost international body in the field of wines and spirits education. The courses are taught in 39 countries worldwide to both the trade and interested consumers. The WSET courses are formal qualifications recognised throughout the world. Teaching is classroom based and delivered by approved tutors.

The New Zealand School of Wines and Spirits is a WSET Approved Programme Provider offering the following courses:

Level 1 Foundation Certificate

Level 2 Intermediate Certificate

Level 3 Advanced Certificate

Level 4 Diploma Course

 The course fees include:

  • WSET student study pack (textbook, specification, student guide)
  • Room hire
  • Examination fees
  • All wines to taste

All students enrolling with the NZSWS must be over 18 years of age and will be asked to
sign a declaration to this effect on the booking form.
