Level 3 Advanced Certificate
Level 3 Advanced Certificate is intended to provide core knowledge of the wide range of wines and spirits around the world. The instruction on this course assumes that students are familiar with the concepts introduced and developed on the Level 2 Intermediate Course.
Wines and Spirits of the world are covered in considerable depth over 4 intensive days. It is recommended that students put in at least 56 hours of private study, with most of this being done in preparation before the commencement of the course (we send out the study packs once the enrolments have closed so that students can begin).
The two and a half hour exam comprises 60 multiple-choice questions, four short answer questions and a blind tasting of two wines. Successful candidates receive the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate.
This qualification is a pre-requisite for the Diploma Course.
The course fee includes tuition, the use of Spiegelau tasting glasses, all wines, examination fee and the WSET material pack which includes useful tools such as study guides, textbook, specifications, maps etc.
